Day 1 : Arrival

Jommo Kenyatta International Airport on arrival in Kenya, you will be met by one of Giraffe Safari representative who will welcome you and who will transfer you from the airport to Nairobi city. You will spend the night in this busy tourist town. Where will get short briefing from our representative at hotel and leave you to relax for while and have dinner.  LUXURY:Sarova Stanley Hotel . Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu

After your breakfast in morning you will get pick up from your hotel and depart from , where you will be driven through central Kenya and north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving. Samburu National Reserve is situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in Kenya. This means that there is plenty of water, trees and shade to attract wildlife like; Elephants, Lions, Giraffes and Zebras from the surrounding Savannah plains. Leopards are also regularly spotted. The Uaso Nyiro River’s magnificent displays are the long and huge Crocodiles, which exceed six meters (20 feet) from snout to tail where you will enjoy game drive then you will be driven to hotel for dinner and over night stay at LUXURY: Samburu Sopa Lodge COMFORT: Samburu Game Lodge EASY: Samburu public campsite or another accommodation of the same category.

Day 3: Explore Samburu Full Day

After your breakfast you will do a full day game drive in Samburu. Samburu is a beautiful and game abundant Park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s Zebra, Blue-necked Somali Ostrich and Reticulated Giraffe. Morning and afternoon ‘Spice’ game drives, with a visit to a local Samburu village. Other optional activities include camel riding, guided nature and bird walks. Overnight stay at accommodation selected on day 2.

Day 4: Samburu – Lake Nakuru

After your breakfast in morning you will get drive to the floor of The Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Lake Nakuru is famous for the presence of up to two million Flamingos, seasonally feeding on the abundant algae. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. In addition, many species of game can be found in the Park including the introduced Rothschild’s Giraffe, black and White Rhino, Water buck, Reedbuck, Lion,  Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and many species of plains game.Where you will be enjoying game drive with lunch then you will have dinner and overnight at LUXURY: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge COMFORT: Jarika Country Lodge EASY: Makalia falls campsite or another accommodation of the same category.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

After breakfast in the morning and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley. The famous Masai Mara Game Reserve is known for its density of animals including the Big Five and 453 species of birds, it is one of the most visited reserves in Africa. This National Reserve’s plains are predominantly open Savannah, interspersed with patches of acacia woodland, and along the Mara River, riparian forest. Whilst game viewing is excellent in the Mara all year round, the most popular time to visit is in late July into August where, over one million Wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of Zebra migrate from the Serengeti. Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve.

After your breakfast you will continue with a full day game drive to Masai Mara which is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa most diverse, incredible and most spectacular Eco-Systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing Eco-System. I am sure you have heard the wildebeest migration is nothing short of amazing. It is one of the things you have do add to your bucket list. This will be the full day explore the Masai Mara, breakfast will be served as early as 0730am, then our cook will pack for you fresh picnic lunch since the whole day will be exploring the Masai Mara famous 7th wonder of the World. This game reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The Mara’s gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq km – an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 km west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra and Topi. You may occasionally sight black Rhino. In the Mara River Hippos play and Cross bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains north.After enjoying the park you will go back back to your accommodation selected on day 5.

Day 7: Masai Mara Full.

After your breakfast in morning you will continue will a full day  game drives within the reserve. The Masai Mara is famous for its lions, elephants, leopard, rhino and buffalo that make the ‘big five’ though luck is essential for spotting the other two namely which are rather shy and elusive. The park’s animal concentration and abundance is second to none. We will cater for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture after a full game drive you will driven back to your accommodation selected on day 5.

Day 8: Masai Mara – Amboseli National park

After your breakfast in the morning you will get drive from maasai mara to Amboseli National park. Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season where you will have lunch and you enjoy game drive in evening then you will have overnight stay at LUXURY: Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge COMFORT: Jambo Mara Safari Lodge EASY: Kiboko Private campsite or another accommodation of the same category.

Day 9 : Amboseli National park- Nairobi

After your breakfast in morning you will proceed with half game drive in Amboseli national park then you will have  lunch in afternoon and drive Nairobi at your hotel or at airport  depending with your flight schedule or proceed with other plan and our driver will pick you from the hotel and drop you back to the airport to catch up with your flight.
